Anne Zarotney, 81 of Berlin, passed away on Thursday, June 24, 2021 at Hospital of Central CT after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born in New Britain and attended local schools. She graduated from New Britain High School in 1958. She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Lawrence Zarotney, who passed away last month, and her parents, Pellegrino Michael and Frances Mercurio, her brothers John, Charles, Pellegrino Michael and Francis Mercurio, and sisters Rose Maccotta and Lois Siderowf. She is survived by her two daughters: Darlene Scarola and Sandra Keldsen and her husband Daniel Keldsen, her four grandchildren, who she adored: Anthony Scarola, Isabella Scarola, Julia Keldsen and Ivy Keldsen, and several cousins, nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (June 29, 2021) at 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Berlin. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society P.O. Box 22478 Oklahoma, OK 73123.
