Michael A. Rossetti, husband of Faye King Rossetti, passed away peacefully at his home in Naples Florida on May 30, 2021. Michael was born in Hartford, CT July 5, 1925. He graduated from Bulkeley High School and then joined the Army Air Corp, serving in WWII. Michael received a BS degree from The University of Connecticut and his Masters in Education from University of Hartford. He worked for the State of Connecticut Health Department. Among his duties was setting up regional and local health districts throughout the state. He retired as a director in 1989. During retirement he divided his time between Old Saybrook CT and West Palm Beach Florida, until moving to Naples in 2017. He was a CSEA delegate, president of the Knollwood Beach Association, a third degree Knight of Columbus, member of the Westbrook Elks club, active at St. Johns church and an avid golfer. Besides his wife Faye, Michael is survived by two daughters and their spouses Maria and Floyd Miller of Venice Florida. Debra and James O’Donnell of Naples Florida, three grandchildren and their spouses, Michael and Heather O’Donnell of Simsbury, Elizabeth and Ryan Hoff and their son Connor of Avon, Hao Miller and Victor Marroquin of Tampa, Florida. The family would like to thank Avow Hospice Naples Florida for their compassionate care while caring for Michael. Funeral service and burial was privately held in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery.
