Obituary of Nancy A. Dillon

Nancy A. Dillon, 58, of Rocky Hill passed away after a hard fought battle with cancer. Born in Waterbury she is the daughter of Gene & Judy Hosack. Nancy grew up in Enfield and attended Fermi High School, and went on to pursue a degree in Business. She was a member of Christ the King Church in Wethersfield. She enjoyed trips to Florida, planting flowers, dogs, but what she loved most was her children. Her true calling was her work and involvement with Team Telomere which supports families affected by Dyskeratosis Congenita and Telomere Biology Disorders. Team Telomere is having a Million Dollar Bike ride in her honor on June 5th . Nancy is survived by her husband Robert and their two children Aidan and Kaitlin. Along with her parents she is also survived by a brother David Hosack. She leaves a network of countless friends from all over the world who became family. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday (May 22nd) at 11:00 AM at Christ the King Parish (Corpus Christi Church) 601 Silas Deane HWY Wethersfield, CT. Burial will be held privately in Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to Team Telomere 1562 First Ave. #205-4093 New York, NY 10028-4004.
