Lawrence S. Zarotney, 82 of Berlin, passed away on Thursday, May 6, 2021 at Hospital of Central CT. He was born in Berlin and attended local schools. He graduated from Berlin High School in 1956. He played baseball and basketball at Berlin High. He was an avid Red Sox fan.
He was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Mary Zarotney, his brother Dennis, and sister Kathleen Lamkins. He is survived by his loving wife Anne of 58 years, two daughters: Darlene Scarola and Sandra Keldsen and her husband Daniel Keldsen, his four grandchildren, who he adored: Anthony Scarola, Isabella Scarola, Julia Keldsen and Ivy Keldsen, and several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Friday (May 14, 2021) at 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Maple Cemetery, Worthington Ridge, Berlin. A walk through visitation will be Friday from 10:00 to 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
