James H. Kron, 71, of New Britain, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday (Apr. 8, 2021) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Michael Kron and Vivian Kron Crabtree, he was a lifelong resident. He was predeceased by his wife, Paula (Seleman) Kron. He was employed for many years at Peter Paul Electronics and was a member of the Newington Senior Center and St. John the Evangelist Church. James is survived by his two sisters Sharon Kron of Newington, Charlotte Robertson of Pensacola, FL, a brother Thomas Kron and his wife, Laura of Clinton. Along with his nephews: Ronald Lentini and partner Amanda, Dean Gorneault and wife Diane, Kyle Robertson, Dallas Robertson and partner Patricia. James is survived by a devoted and loving brother-in-law, Greg Seleman. Lastly he also leaves behind his beloved cat, Milo. Funeral services will be held Thursday (April 15, 2021) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at Holy Apostles Parish (St. John the Evangelist Church) 655 East St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holy Apostles Parish.
