Linda Nola Souza, 75, of New Britain, died Thursday (Mar. 4, 2021) at home after a long illness. Born In Claire, New Brunswick, Canada, the daughter of the late Darcy and Lorraine (Dominique) Levesque, she came to the New Britain area in 1965. She had been employed for many years at Skinner Valve, division of Honeywell. A devout catholic, she was a long time member of St. Mary Church in New Britain and was well known as a gourmet cook, an avid reader and gardener. Linda is survived by her daughter Melissa and her husband Javier Perez of Prospect, son Frank L. Michaud of New Britain; two grandchildren Isabella Perez and Jay Jay Perez; a brother Peter Levesque of Southington, an aunt Linda Dominique of Plainville and an uncle Francis Dominique of Southington. She was predeceased by a sister Lisa Foxx. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Monday (Mar. 8, 2021) at 10:30 AM at St. Joachim Parish (St. Mary Church) 544 Main St. New Britain. Burial will be in Canada at a future date. A walk through visitation will be held Monday from 9:30 AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association 5 Brookside Dr. Wallingford, CT 06492 or to The Kidney Foundation 30 East 33 Rd Street New York, NY 10016.
