Obituary of Viola Marquis

Viola Marquis, 88, of New Britain CT passed away recently after a long illness at Autumn Lake Health Care. Born Feb. 4, 1933 in Wallagrass Plantation Maine to Felix and Gertrude Deprey. She resided in New Britain CT most of her life raising her children and working in the food service industry. She loved animals, travel and most of all her family. She leaves behind two grandchildren and several great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her two children Barbara and Gil Jr. Marquis as well as several brothers and sister Morris, Alberie, and Phil Deprey. Rita Thibeault, Jeanette Ouellette, Jeannine Bouchard and Frances Montanaro. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (Feb. 16, 2021) at 10:00 AM at Divine Providence Parish (St. Joseph’s Church) 195 So. Main St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. A walk-through visitation will be Tuesday from 9:00 AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
