Obituary of Gloria C. Hernandez

Gloria C. (Capo) Hernandez, 83, of White Plains, NY, died Saturday (Jan. 2, 2021) at home. Born in Spain, the daughter of the late Juan and Marie (Aznar) Capo, she came to the United States at the age of 17. She settled in White Plains with her family, moved to New Britain, CT for a short while and returned to White Plains for the remainder of her life. She was the wife of the late Joseph “Jose” Hernandez, who died Dec. 25, 1989. Gloria was employed in the research and development department of Desk Net Systems, Inc. for many years. Mrs. Hernandez is survived by her daughter Celia Hernandez of White Plains, NY, a granddaughter Christine Jorge, a great grandson Case Pearson-Leary and three nephews Tony Hernandez, Fred Hernandez, John Hernandez and their families. Funeral services will be held Wednesday (Jan. 6, 2021) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 at Divine Providence Parish (St. Peter Church) 98 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday from 9:00AM until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
