Obituary of Robert J. Gadzik

Robert J. Gadzik, 61, of New Britain, died Tuesday (Dec. 29, 2020) at home. Born in New Britain, the son of Lois (Hall) Gadzik and the late Robert D. Gadzik, he was a lifelong resident. He was employed for many years at Arrow Manufacturing in Bristol. During the summer, Bob enjoyed camping with his family at Sun Valley Camp Grounds. In addition to his mother, Bob is survived by two sisters, Cheryl Ann Pagano and Mary Ann and her husband, Bruce Caldwell, a brother David and his wife Laurie Gadzik; and several nieces, nephews grandnieces and grandnephews. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Tuesday (Jan. 5, 2021) at 10:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church 485 Alling St. Kensington. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. There are no calling hours. The family would like to thank the Hartford Hospital Hospice, the Hospice nurse, Tom and his caregiver Jasmine for all their care and concern for Bob through his illness. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hartford Healthcare Hospice 1290 Silas Deane Hwy Suite 4 B Wethersfield, CT 06109.
