I am saddened by this news, Mrs. Hall the art teacher, my art teacher who worked at Lincoln School for many years.
I’m so very fortunate to have gone back to visit her before she retired. She remembered who I was when I walked into her art room. I was there to student teach and she lit up when she recognized me. (yes I was going to be an art teacher, but it never happened).
Mrs Hall was the first person in my life to call me an artist and praise me on my abilities with being creative. I will forever be grateful to her, for seeing in me the artist I am, and encouraging me to keep at it. My first award in art was due in part to her. Mrs Hall submitted a piece to the local bank art show, without me knowing and I actually won an award and my picture in the newspaper.
I will forever think of you Mrs Hall, as I always do, whenever I am being creative. I carry you in my heart, always. ❤️
