Obituary of Hildegard P. Kober

Hildegard (Poglitsch) Kober, 88, of Wethersfield, died Thursday (Jan. 2, 2020) at home. Born in Burgenland, Austria, she came to the U.S. in 1951, living mostly in New Britain and moved to Wethersfield in 2006. She was the widow of Walter F. Kober who died Aug. 15, 1998. She was employed by Travelers Insurance Co. In Hartford for many years and was well known to be active and stayed in shape as a member of Health Trax Fitness Center in Newington and as an avid skiier. Mrs. Kober is survived by her daughter Carol Kober-Narciss and her husband Nick Narciss of Wethersfield, two grandsons Bryan Narciss and Nicholas and his wife, Reed Floarea. Funeral services will be held Tuesday (Jan 7, 2020) at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain at 11:00 AM. Burial will be private.
