Obituary of George Carmen Orioli

George Carmen Orioli, 37, of Newington, died Wednesday (Sept. 11, 2019) at Hartford Hospital. Born in New Britain, he is the son of George and Nina (Carrier) Orioli. He was a career Navy serviceman, serving in Iraq, Afghanistan, Africa and in this country as a Navy Reservist. His life centered around his daughters and his love for them. His passion was his artwork, which he was currently studying, as well as photography and poetry. He also, enjoyed working out.  

In addition to his parents, George is survived by his daughters Wilhemina Orioli and Lucille Orioli; his sister Susan Thibeault, his brother Benjamin Orioli; his grand parents Caludette Cyr and Alfred Carrier; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his numerous military comrades.

Funeral services will be held Thursday (Sept. 19, 2019) with a visitation from 9:00- 11:00 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain and a Service at 11:00. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. After the burial a repass will be held at the Crystal Ballroom 211 Farmington Ave, New Britain, CT 06053.
