Obituary of Gary J. Kordek

 Gary J. Kordek, 60, of New Britain, died Wednesday (Aug. 15, 2018) at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Stanley and Julia (Orioli) Kordek, he was a lifelong resident. He was a member of St. John the Evangelist Church and a former employee of the Lindberg Heat Treatment Co. in New Britain. Gary is survived by two brothers, George and his wife, Linda Kordek of Kensington, Robert Kordek of New Britain, a sister Kathleen Kordek of California,  a nephew, Matthew Kordek , and a cousin  Angela Manafort.

Funeral services will be held Monday (Aug. 20, 2018) with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. John the Evangelist Church 655 Newington Ave. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. John the Evangelist Church 655 Newington Ave. New Britain, CT 06051.
