New Britain- Rose D. Barron, 94, of New Britain, died peacefully on Tuesday December 4, 2012 at The Hospital of Central Connecticut with her family by her side. A lifelong resident of New Britain she was born on April 28, 1918 the daughter of Donato and Teresa(Amato) DiLoreto. Rose was a hairdresser at the Duchess Beauty Salon for many years were she made many friends. She was a member of St. Ann's Church. Rose is survived by her sister Helen Giantonio of Newington, three sons and their spouses and fiancé, Robert W. Barron and Diane Lundy of Bristol, William P. and Barbara Barron of Kensington, and Thomas P. and Carol Barron of Torrington; two grandchildren and spouses, Kenneth and Cynthia Barron and Susan and Timothy Bernaiche; five great grandchildren; loving and caring nieces and nephews, as well as friends and neighbors who will all miss her dearly. She is predeceased by her husband of 57 years William C. Barron, three brothers, Louis, Monty and James DiLoreto, two sisters Stella Santacrose and Margaret Negri. Funeral services will be held Friday, at 9:45 December 7, 2012 at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq., New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 at St. Ann's Church in New Britain with burial in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann's Church, 47 Clark St., New Britain, CT. 06051.
