Obituary of Jane C. Marino

Jane Godinski Marino passed away September 24, in New Jersey. She is formerly of New Britain, CT. Mrs. Marino is the widow of Albert J. Marino, who passed away in 1976. Jane was a former clerk at Woolworths in New Britain, and for many years was with the payroll and accounts receivable department of Sears, in Newington, retiring in 1978. Jane was a communicant and a member of the Ladies Guild of St. Francis Church, New Britain. Jane leaves two daughters and their husbands. Dr. Judy Marino and her husband, Edwin Robinson, reside in Somerset, New Jersey and Carol Marino and her husband, Dr. Larry Spitznagle reside in Solebury, PA. Jane was the sister of the late Stella Marselli, the late Pauline Nosal, and the late Florence Moranski. She was the sister-in law of Ike Moranski of New Britain. Mrs. Marino also leaves several nephews: Mr. William Shoplick and his wife, Connie from Southington; Mr. John Nosal and his wife Diane, from Florida; Mr. Tony Nosal and his wife Meredith, from Cumberland, Rhode Island; Mr. Robert Nosal and his wife Carol, from St. Charles IL; Mr. Ed Moranski and his wife Debbie from Vermont, Mr. Paul Moranski from Bristol, CT; Mr. Fred Marselli from New Britain, and Mr. Paul Marino and his wife Gloria from Bristol, CT. Mrs. Marino also left many great nieces and nephews. She also leaves two nieces, Ms. Florence (Babe) Bogush from Norfolk, Virginia and Mrs. Dorothy Zeoli from Wallingford, CT. Mrs. Marino also left many great nieces and nephews. Services will be held Wednesday with Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Francis of Assisi Church Stanley St. in New Britain. Entombment will follow in the family crypt in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday from 10:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to St. Francis of Assisi Church 1755 Stanley St. New Britain, CT 06051.
