Obituary of John Kasak

John M. Kasak, 81, of Bristol, died Friday at Hartford Hopsital. Born in New Britain, the son of the late Michael and Eva Kasak, he lived many years in New Britain and recently in Bristol. He was a member of St. Mary Church, where he served as an usher and he was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a devoted family man who helped his daughters in many ways. John is survived by four daughters Louise Kasak and Linda Cyr of Bristol, Lorraine Satalino of Newington and Laura Hines of Oregon; seven grandchildren Dylan Cyr, Reno Cyr, III, David Dworek, Michael Satalino, Sarah Satalino, Nicole Weiss and Robert Weiss; one great grandson Jonathan Satalino; a sister Florence Trojanowski and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Tuesday 10:30 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 A.M. at St. Mary Church, New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Monday 5:00 to 7:00 P.M.
