Obituary of Esther Parlato

Esther S. (Salvatore) Parlato, 98, of Kensington, died early Monday Morning at home. Born in New Haven, the daughter of the late James and Lucia Salvatore, she came to Kensington in 1938. She was the wife of the late Dr. Harry A. Parlato, who died in October 2002. During her career, she served as president of the Boys and Girls Club, was active with the Ladies Auxiliary of New Britain General Hospital and was well known as an avid golfer at the Country Cub of Farmington.
Mrs. Parlato is survived by her daughter Betsey Parlato and her husband David Zucker of Tucson, AZ; her son Ronald Parlato and his wife Margaret of Washington, DC; four grandchildren Atty. Blair W. Todt and his wife Lisa of Tampa, FL, Kiersten Todt Coon and her husband Randal Coon of Arlington, VA, Elizabeth Parlato of San Francisco, CA and Christopher Parlato of Boston, MA; four great grandchildren Noah, Hayley, Jackson and Christian.
Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum.
