Marion (McAvay) Vojtila, 85, of New Britain, died Sunday, June 12, 2011, at the Jerome Home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Thomas and Grace (Avery) McAvay, she was a lifelong resident, who spent her summers in Westbrook, for the last twenty five years. Marion was the wife of the late Francis "Fudgie" Vojtila, who died May 2, 1990.
Mrs. Vojtila is survived by two sons Robert and his wife Sharon Vojtila of Southington, Thomas Vojtila of New Britain, and her granddaughter Alexandra Vojtila .
Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Dominic's Church, 1050 Flanders Road Southington. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5:00 to 7:30 P.M. at the funeral home.
