Obituary of Thomas Schrey

Thomas A. Schrey, 66, of Kensington, died Friday at Hartford Hospital. Born and raised in New Britain, he became a Kensington resident in 1969. He retired two years ago, as Vice-President of Precision Punch Corporation in Berlin. Tom is survived by his wife Nadine (Krenos) Schrey, his daughter Lisa and her husband Douglas Lennehan of Kensington, his son Thomas Schrey, Jr. and his wife Joyce of Plainville, 14 grandchildren Alyssa, Kevin, Colleen, Brian, Meghan, Shanna, Caitlyn, Connor, Colin, Kelsey, Thomas, Madison, Marissa and Morgan; two sisters in law Frieda Whitaker of Kensington and Juliann Hammer of Ivoryton; three brothers in law John Whitaker of Kensington, Ken Turner of Higganum and Robert Hammer of Ivoryton, his nieces and nephews Matthew Hammer, Brett, Christine, Bryce and Leah Turner, and Gaylan and Alan Wurst. He was predeceased by his sister, Maureen Johnson and sister in law Christine Turner of Higganum Funeral services were held privately with burial in St. Mary Cemetery.
