Obituary of Lorraine K. Anderson

Lorraine (Kazzy) Kazmierski Anderson, 73 from New Britain, CT departed from this life on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 in her home with her family by her side. She was born in New Britain, CT to Mary and Joseph Kazmierski, in 1937. She resided in New Britain until marring Donald "Tex" Anderson which began her twenty year life as a military wife, enabling her to travel extensively. Once retiring from the Air Force, they operated the Blue Plate Restaurant in Plainville and simultaneously she began a career at Newington V.A. where she worked until retiring. Devoted wife and mother, she is survived by her husband of fifty six years, Donald "Tex" Anderson, daughter Doreen Anderson Blake her spouse Samuel Blake, son Darren Anderson, his spouse Kathy McCarthy Anderson and daughter Denise Anderson Basque , her spouse David Basque. Her grandchildren Rachel Triplett Malpica, her spouse Anthony Malpica, Rhondell Triplett, Rion Triplett, his fiancée LeeAnne Blake, David Basque Jr. and his fiancée Bobbi Lee Wawruck, Justin Blake, Simon Blake, Taylor Anderson, Justin Betters, Jordan Anderson and Kelsie Anderson. Her Great grandchildren, Zailia Malpica, Cheyanne Prebble, Jourien Malpica and Joseph Triplett: sister Sandra Kazmierski Chudzik and her lifelong friend Annie Zemaitis along with Casper, her constant companion, a blue point Siamese. She is predeceased by her great-grandson Daimen Triplett. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 A.M. Friday, at St. Maurice Church 100 Wightman Road New Britain. Entombment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
