Catherine H. (Zeiler) Malatis, 76, of Nee Britain, died Saturday (May 14, 2011) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New York, the daughter of the late George and Helen Zeiler, she lived most of her life in New Britain. A member of Holy Spirit Church in Newington, she was also a volunteer on campaigns for the former Congresswoman Nancy Johnson. She was employed over twenty five years at the Stanley Works.
Catherine is survived by her husband William F. "Fred" Malatis.
Funeral services will be private with burial in Fairview Cemetery, New Britain.
