Mrs. Florence (Gingras) Gagne, 84, of Newington, wife of the late Gerard Gagne, died Friday (Sept.28,2012) at home. A native of Quebec, Canada, she lived in New Britain for 45 years before moving to Newington where she lived for over 20 years. She was employed at Emhart for 30 years before retiring in 1990. She was also a member of St. Peter Church and the St. Anne Society. Mrs. Gagne is survived by two sisters Monique Gravel and Georgette Gagne; three brothers Lionel Gingras, Fernand Gingras and Jean Louis Gingras and several sisters in law, brothers in law, nieces and nephews, all in Canada. Funeral services will be held Friday 10:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Entombment will follow in St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Visitation will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Peter Church 98 Franklin Square New Britain, CT 06051.
