Obituary of Hilda Warnock

Please share a memory of Hilda to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Hilda (Moroni) Warnock, left us Tuesday April 3, 2012 and is on her way to a reunion with her husband Edward, who died Sept. 11, 2006, her beloved son, Edward Warnock, who predeceased her in 1978 and her much loved brother, Lorenzo (Lawrence) Moroni who died in 1986. Hilda was born in New Britain, the 2nd of July 1928 to Ottavio and Amabile Moroni. She lived her entire life in the family home and was the neighbor from heaven. She took care of many children through the years who were like her own. She had a big heart and was generous to all To mourn until they see her again she leaves a daughter Jeanette and her husband Salvadore Ortiz; two granddaughters Roxanne and Jennifer Ortiz who were caring and thoughtful during her confinement; several nieces and nephews including her niece Diane and her best friend Carol Popielarz. People will remember Hilda for her many kindnesses, her understanding heart and her honesty. She wanted to thank those who helped her in any way during her last years where she suffered the torments of having diabetes for over thirty years. She deeply appreciated the kind word, the visit, the call, the services you provided for her that she could no longer do for herself. Private funeral services were held with burial in St. Mary Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association P.O. Box 31160 Hartford, CT 06150-1160. Hilda's family wishes to thank the staff of the Newington Health Care Center for their care and compassion to the Warnock family.
