Obituary of Antonio Simone

Antonio "Tony" Simone, 70 of Berlin, died Saturday morning at his home. Born in Italy, he came to this country in 1955, lived in New Britain many years and has been a Berlin resident for the last twenty years. He was employed for thirty years at Custom Metal Crafters in Newington. Tony is survived by his wife Cynthia (Pucci) Simone, two sons Douglas Simone and Andrew Simone, both of Berlin; a brother Camillo Simone and his wife Lucia, two sisters Elcina Voisine and her husband Robert, all of New Britain, and Carmalla D'Amore of Italy; two sisters-in-law, Loretta and her husband Richard DiPietro and Georgia and her husband James Kelly, all of Berlin; his mother-in-law Elvina Pucci of New Britain; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Gennarro Simone. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 11:00 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Wilcox Cemetery, East Berlin. Visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home.
