Obituary of Ann Schiavo

Ann Schiavo (Cwikla) 89, of New Britain, died Friday at home. Born in Kensington, CT, she lived most of her life in Kensington and New Britain. She was a member of the New Britain Senior Center and the Holy Spirit Church in Newington. Ann is survived by her husband Peter Schiavo, son Gary and his wife Jane Cwikla of Southington, her granddaughter Lauren Cwikla; a sister Jean and her husband Gaius Mathis of Newington; her step children Vernon Schiavo, Peter and his wife Patty Schiavo, all of New Britain and Veronica and her husband James Liegeot of Altamont, NY. Funeral services will be held Wednesday 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Spirit Church, Newington. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
