Mary E. Controis, 8,4 of Berlin, died Wednesday at home. Born in New Britain, the daughter of the late Omer and Marguerite Contois, she was a reading teacher in Plainville for many years. A Mass of Christian burial will be held Saturday at 10:30 A.M. at St. Joseph's Church, 22 Goodwill Ave. Meriden. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery New Britain. The Farrell Funeral Home, Franklin Square New Britain is in charge of arrangements.
