Florence (Kuklinski) Wysocki, 85, passed away Wednesday November 30, 2011. Predeceased by her husband of over 50 years, Stanley J. Wysocki. Florence is survived by her son and daughter in law Gregory and MaryAnne Wysocki of New Britain and Westbrook, her four grandsons Gregg Wysocki and his wife Karen Sutton of Fairfield, Justin, Stephen and Mark Wysocki. Florence also leaves her two great grandsons, Luke and Zachary of Fairfield; a brother Edward Kuklinski of Southington and several nieces and nephews. Born and raised in New Britain Florence was a graduate of New Britain High School who worked at Southern New England Telephone Company for many years, returning to her Alma Mater to work as a paraprofessional in the New Britain High School administration offices until her retirement. An accomplished athlete in her early years, Florence excelled in tennis and earned many accolades in competitive bowling. Florence went on to spend many years attending her grandsons football, basketball and baseball games as an enthusiastic supporter and number one fan, never missing any event. Funeral services will be held Friday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Church 158 Broad St. New Britain. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Connecticut Hospice 100 Double Beach Road Branford, C T 06405 or to American Cancer Society 538 Preston Ave. Meriden, CT 06450.
