Obituary of Kevin Donahue

Kevin J. Donahue, 53, of Bristol, formerly of New Britain, died early Thursday morning at Vitas Innovative Care in Waterbury. Born in New Britain , the son of the late James F. and Katherine (Flynn) Donahue, he lived most of his life in New Britain and Bristol. He had been employed for many years as an electrical supervisor at ESPN in Bristol. Prior to joining ESPN, Kevin worked at Bell Electric in Torrington and Lehrer's Hardware Store in New Britain. Kevin is survived by his wife Maureen (Burke) Donahue, his son Nicholas Donahue of Cocoa, FL, his step daughter Sarah Maloney of New Britain; two brothers Michael Donahue of Newington and Timothy Donahue of Plantsville, four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Varley. On Saturday (Sept.17,2011) a visitation will be held at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Square New Britain from 10:00 A.M. until 2:00 P.M.
