Grandma, Today during this hour or so of your funeral I find myself very weepy. I am filled with emotions, both sad and joyful. Sad because I will miss you and that I have missed you for the last few years. With you being so sick I lost a part of the closeness that we had when I was younger. I look at my children, your great grandchildren and am again sad because you were not able to know and enjoy them. I know you would have loved each and every one of them. And yet I find myself smiling through the tears as I watch them. I feel that somehow you do know them.. I see your work ethic in Zachary, he is up and at work from dusk til dawn. Rebecca loves her jewlery..and the bling. Just as you did. And Dalton.. gets this huge smile that reminds me of you when he finds me looking at him.. I also take comfort in the fact that you are at peace and in great company up there and I remember you told me "there are no angels on earth". You were one of those people who were as close as it got to an angel on earth. I will treasure the time that we had together and rembember the fun.. summers in the water, all the amazing food ( I will have a lobester for you). And will keep your memory in my heart forever. You taught me so much and I am and will always be proud to call you my GRANDMA!! I love you.

Joanne and Sean, May the memories of your grandmother keep you strong at this very difficult time. Her wisdom and love lives on in you both and is waiting to be passed on. Because of you Joanne, she was able to die at home surrounded by the comfort and love of family. There is no gift more precious. You should be proud that you had the strength and courage to do this for her. Lisa

Grandma, You are my strength, my weakness, my heart and my soul. I am honored, proud and BLESSED by GOD to have you as my grandmother. You stepped up to the plate when we lost our father and you your son,and I will never forget that. It is true what they say "children learn what they are taught" and you taught me how to stand tall, be strong, and to follow your heart. My heart right now is yearning to hold you and tell you everything is going to be ok. I thank you for making us go to church and having faith, it is my faith right now that is letting me know that you are at peace. I remember the words my father said before he passed and I quote "When I pass and you are thinking of me, it is not you thinking of me, it is me coming to you to let you know that I AM WITH YOU". So when I start to think of you and get all choked up, I remember those words and embrace your presence. You will live in my heart until I see you again. THANK YOU for being my GRANDMA, I LOVE YOU. Kisses and Hugs Joanne

Judy, Annmarie & family, My sincere condolences on the passing of such a beautiful member of your family. I will always remember my trip to Virginia with Nana. Her & I had many conversations along the way in Lithuanian. Although I only speak English some how we understood one another. What a wonderful woman. She lived a full life and I do believe she is in heaven watching over all of you. May God bless her and let you all feel her peace. My heart goes out to you all, surely her presence in your life will be missed. Lisa La Barre
