Obituary of Harry Gaber

Harry M. Gaber, 81, of Plantsville, died Tuesday October 9, 2012 at the Hospital of Central CT in Southington. Born in New Britain the son of the late Frank and Anna (Huber) Gaber, he has been a Plantsville resident since 1974. He was employed for over 25 years as a meat cutter for Stop & Shop. He was also a member of St. Peter Church and the Men's Society of St. Peter Church. Mr. Gaber is survived by his wife Irene (Yacheski) Gaber, three sons and one daughter Gary and his wife Geri Gaber of Colchester, Robert and his wife Lisa Gaber of Southington, Kevin and his wife Billie Gaber of Southington, Christine and her husband Curtis Nulsen of Missouri; his grandchildren Steven and his wife Laura Gaber, Susan and her husband Eric Gibree, Kenneth and his fiance' Megan Gibbons, Robert and his wife Cindy Gaber and Michelle Gaber and Nicole and Emilee Nulsen; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday 10:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter Church. Burial will be private. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
