Obituary of Margaret Standish

Margaret Standish, 82, of New Britain, died early Monday Morning at an area convalescent home. Born in St. Francis, ME, the daughter of the late Willie and Amanda (McPherson) Pellitier, she lived most of her life in New Britain. Margaret is survived by her children Barbara Pierce of Bristol, Suzanne Lavoie of New Britain Gilman Standish of Hartford, Amanda Guzman of East Hartford; her brother Homer and his wife Josephine Pelletier of Watertown, her sisters Iowne and her husband Roger Jandreau of Wolcott, Viola and her husband Pat Plourde of Old Orchard, ME, Lorraine Lazore of Fort Kent, ME, and Diane and her husband Bob Jandreau of St. John, Me; 10 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sons and two daughters Larry Standish of New Britain, Steven Standish of Hartford, Sheila Provencal of Amston and Arlene Standish of Maine and her siblings George Pellitier, Alphy Pellitier, Leon Pellitier, Jean Pellitiere, Ula Trojano, Rita Crest and Johnny Pellitier.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 6:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin sq. New Britain. Burial will be private. Visitation will be Friday from 4:00 to 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
