Obituary of Marie Suprenant

Marie (Onisto) Suprenant, 93, of New Britain, died Saturday Dec. 31, 2011 at the Hospital of Central Connecticut in New Britain. Born in East Hartford, CT, the daughter of the late Louis and Theresa (Bartlazzo) Onisto, she lived in New Britain most of her life. She was the widow of William Suprenant. She had been employed for over twenty years at the New Britain Herald and was a member of St. Ann's Church. Mrs. Suprenant is survived by her daughter Catherine and her husband Patrick Peuple of Grasse France, her son Robert Suprenant of Colebrook; two brothers Peter Onisto of Westerly, RI; and Joseph Onisto of Texas; a sister Anita Lacaprucia of Chicopee, MA and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday (Jan.9,2012) 9:00 A.M. from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. with a Mass at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann Church (North St. New Britain). Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
