Edward M. Weber, 83, beloved husband, father and grandfather, passed away peacefully Thursday night at an area convalescent home. Born in New Britain, he lived all his life in the New Britain-Berlin area and was the son of the late Edward and Louise (Mueller) Weber. He was the husband of Maryann (Samojedny) Weber. A Manufacturing Engineer, he worked many years for the Parker-Hanafin Company in New Britain.
In addition to his wife, Mr. Weber is survived by his children and their spouses

Meghan Weber, Fairfield, CT, Gregory Petropoulos, Rocky Hill, CT, and Erica Petropoulos, Rocky Hill, CT.
During his life, Mr. Weber's actives included the Berlin Little League & Babe Ruth League as a Coach,
Religion Teacher, St. Paul's Church
member of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers and
member of the Donau Club, New Britain
He was also a devoted Red Sox and sports fan, avid crossword puzzle solver,
enjoyed family vacations to Westbrook and Sunday outings to Hammonasset Beach, enjoyed playing golf in his later years with his son and son-in-law, and
dedicated his entire adult life to his wife and children, always putting them first and was a deeply religious man who will forever be missed.
Funeral services will be held Thursday 9:00 AM from the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 AM at St. Paul's Church, Kensington. Burial will follow. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund c/o Dana Farber Cancer Institute P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9184.
