Patricia Ann (Conklin) Barton, 87, of Farmington, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 20th.  Born in Highland Falls, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred & Anna (Kowalewski) Conklin.

Patricia was a graduate of Mary Immaculate Academy, class of 1956 and then studied radiology at New Britain General Hospital.  She then went on to marry the late Robert R. Barton in 1959.  Patricia worked as a nuclear medicine technologist at UCONN Medical Center. 

After retiring, she and Bob moved to Lehigh Acres, Florida from where they made several road trips to all 48 contiguous states.  She also loved quilting and left behind a beautiful legacy stitched one quilt at a time.  She enjoyed 30 years in Florida before recently moving back to Connecticut.

Patricia leaves her two loving sons; Kenny Barton and his partner Ana Domimguez-Pena of Newington, and Glenn Barton and his wife Kate of Berlin; as well as her two grandchildren, Justice Skiba and her husband Dan, and Samuel Barton and his fiancé Heather Gaskins; and one great granddaughter, Ella.

In addition to her parents and husband, Bob; Patricia was predeceased by her sisters, Joan Trzasko and Betty Lou Schmieg, and her daughter-in-law, Teresa Barton.

In accordance with Patricia’s wishes, there will be no Memorial services.
