With profound sadness we announce the passing of Margaret (Pajor) Mendoza, 71, who passed away peacefully at home on July 4, 2026. Margaret was a lifelong resident of Kensington, CT and built a life centered on family, and kindness.

She was a proud graduate of Berlin High School, Class of 1972. Margaret dedicated nearly 20 years of service as a van driver with NBT, where she was known for her reliability, and friendly spirit. She was also a devoted member of St. Paul's Church in Kensington, where her faith remained an important part of her life.

Margaret lived a life filled with love, and laughter. She was known for her sense of humor, quick wit, and caring heart that brought comfort and joy to everyone fortunate enough to know her. She found happiness in life's simple pleasures, especially spending time at the beach and with her granddaughter. 

She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Florence and her siblings. She is survived by her beloved husband, Luis Mendoza, her son, Michael Mendoza, and his wife Morena; her daughter Melissa Mendoza and her cherished granddaughter, Arbella Mendoza, who was the light of her life and her greatest joy. Margaret adored Arbella and treasured every moment they shared together.

 Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing she spent her final moments at home, surrounded by those she loved most. Her kindness, laughter, and unwavering love will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.

A visitation will be held Monday (July 13) from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Friends and family are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday (July 14) at 10:00am at St. Paul Church, 485 Alling St. Kensington. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Paul Church.
