Paul N. Catalano Obituary

Paul Nino Catalano, 71, of Berlin, Connecticut passed peaceful with his family by his side on Saturday, June 6, 2026.  He was a beloved father to his daughter, Allison Dumond and his son, Jeffrey Catalano.  His greatest joy in life was being the best grandpa to his only grandson, Kace.

Paul, or Nino as his friends called him, was born in Abataggio, Italy on June 10, 1954.  He lived in Berlin for most of his life where he built a beautiful home for his family.  He was an electrician by trade, retiring out of Bozzuto’s Inc. in Cheshire in 2025.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, playing cards at the IPIC of Berlin, trips to the casino, and fishing. He was a great cook and always took pride in his homes and yards being neat and clean. His loved ones will miss hishumor, kindness, and generosity.

Paul is survived by his son, Jeffrey, his daughter Allison, his son-in-law Josh, and grandson Kace as well as his brother Frank, sister-in-law Lisa, his sister Anna and brother-in-law Wayne, and many other beloved family members and good friends. He was predeceased by his eldest brother Jim, and his parents Carmela and Orazio of Berlin.

Funeral services will be held privately on Monday, June, 15th 2026 at Farrell Funeral Home in New Britain followed by service at St. Mary Cemetery Garden Mausoleum. Friends are welcome to join the family afterwards at the Italian Political Independent Club on 16 Harding Street in Berlin, CT from12-3pm for a celebration of his well-lived life.
