Anne Terese McGrath Fields of Berlin, CT passed away peacefully on November 15 at the age of 93. Anne was born on October 1, 1932 and grew up in New Britain, attended Saint Joseph’s Catholic School and graduated from New Britain High School in 1950.
She lived in New Britain for many years before residing in Berlin where she was a parishioner at St. Paul church. Over the years she worked several jobs but often mentioned that her time working at Skinner Valve was her favorite. Anne loved spending time with family and friends, trips to Cape Cod, going out to dinner and had a passion for gardening.
Anne was predeceased by her daughter Deanna Fields Garrison, sisters Dorothy D’Ambrosio, Mary Foley and brother Jack McGrath. She leaves behind a son Bill Renock and wife Claudette, daughter Lori Beaudoin Butler and husband Jim, son in-law Scott Garrison, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday (Dec. 3, 2025) at 10:00 AM at St. Paul’s Church 485 Alling St. Kensington, CT. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Wednesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain.
