Aimable Smart Jr., 83, of Berlin passed away Monday (Sept 8th 2025) at Middlesex Hospital. He was beloved husband to Carol M. (Ouellette) Smart. Born in Eagle Lake Maine, he lived most of his life in Berlin, CT. He served his country honorably in the US Army and was a member of St. Paul’s Church in Berlin. During his career, Aimable worked at National Eastern Corp. in Plainville.

Besides his wife Carol, he is also survived by his son Ricky G. Smart; his grandchildren, Mel L. Morrison, Jared M. Argazzi, Nicole (Smart) Suchinski, Rachel Smart; along with his four loving great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his parents Aimable and Blanch and his daughter Cynthia (Smart) Argazzi.

Funeral Services for Aimable will be held Friday (Sept 19th) with a Prayer Service at 11:00am at the Farrell Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to American Cancer Society P.O. Box 6704 Hagerstown, MD 21741.
