Jim P. Weber, 60, passed away on September 6, 2025 after a year of courageously fighting cancer. Jim was born on July 5, 1965 to Phyllis and Donald Weber in New Britain, CT where he lived the first 3 decades of his life. Later he moved to Chester, CT and in the past 10 years has resided in East Hartford, CT.

Jim graduated from E.C. Goodwin Technical High School, New Britain, CT. He worked as a warehouse manager for organizations including the joint company of artist Sol Lewitt and Ceramica. Most recently he was employed by Michaels Craft Stores. He was a reliable employee who could be depended upon to complete his work without fail. He enjoyed spending his free time playing golf and fishing. Jim was a generally quiet individual though his voice could be heard loudly cheering on his beloved Giants and Mets teams. Jim had a dry sense of humor that was with him through the final days of his life. His sisters were faithfully devoted to him and will miss him deeply.

Jim is survived by his sisters Leslie (Bryan) Lorber of Amherst, MA, Ellen (Robert) Lachance of Belchertown, MA , Susan (Taylor) Seybolt of Southampton, MA and five nieces and nephews, Benjamin Lorber, Carolyn Lorber, Willa (Asker Waagenes) Seybolt, Potter (Lauren Penenburgh) Seybolt, and Reed (Sydney Condron) Seybolt. He remained close to a few loyal friends during his lifetime. He was pre-deceased by both of his parents.

Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of donor’s choice.
