Very sorry to just hear about Jack. He was a fun guy and he was so liked at the campground of Hammonassett. He loved his campfires and friends there. He will be kept in our fun times. Please accept our Deepest of Sympathy

I am so sorry for the loss of your beloved Uncle Jack. My parents, siblings and other families camped with your grandparents and Jack back in the 70’s and 80’s. We had so much fun and laughed a lot. Your grandparents and Jack always kept us laughing. Occasionally over the years we would see Jack at McDonald’s or Friendly’s. He always greeted us with a big smile and a hug. Your beautiful obituary was a testament of your love for Jack and to the loving, caring family you are.
God Bless

I was on vacation when Jack passed away. I just found out about his passing last night. I went to St Jerome Church and saw his parents ,sister and him weekly for mass and during church events. He always had a big smile and a big hug to give to his friends. We grew up together during the years as ee are the same age. He and his family sat in the same pew weekly. He was like a big bear with love he shared with us. He worked at many events to help out in the kitchen and whereever needed. He was always one of the first to lend a helping hand. If you couldn't find something, he usually knew where it was. When he started to come back to church after Covid we were so happy and excited to see him as he was to see us. He loved us with his big heart as we loved him. He will be GREATLY MISSED. Rest in peace my friend. God bless. Deepest condolences to his family and many friends. Good bye my friend ,until we meet again. Linda Vereneau

Dennis and I worked along side with Jack at Bingo at St. Jerome Church a few years ago. Jack always had a smile and was always willing to help. If we hit a glitch along the way in getting an order out, he’d shrug and say, “what are you gonna do?” Our sympathies to Jack’s family and friends.

You don't know me and I no longer live in Connecticut. But I read the Courant daily and was so deeply touched by the enormous love and kindness that shows in every word of the lovely tribute to your Uncle Jack. I was raised in an extended family with a grandparent in the household for me, and, later, for my children. There is nothing more special and your obvious love and care for your uncle is a tribute to what "family" truly means. My sincerest sorrow for your family's loss.
