Jeanne Albert, beloved wife of the late Euclide Albert, passed away June 27th, 2025 at the age of 96, surrounded by her loving family.
Jeanne was the daughter of the late Antonio and Celina (Morin) Belmont of Edmundston, NB, Canada. Jeanne loved her very large family. She loved to cook for everyone and was never happier than when her table was full of family and friends for a meal. She also enjoyed her games of dominoes with all of the aunts and cousins as well as a good game of cards, bingo, and her puzzles. Her door was always open to friends, relatives, grandchildren and most recently her many great and great-great grandchildren.
In her later years Jeanne was at Jerome Home in New Britain where once again she had numerous friends with whom she shared all of her favorite pastimes, especially bingo!
Jeanne will always be remembered for her overwhelming kindness and welcoming smile. No one was a stranger, the door was always open, everyone was welcome. Jeanne was a member of the St Jean’s The Baptiste Women’s Auxiliary.
Jeanne was predeceased by her siblings Rose, Ralph, Jill, Roger, John, Louis and Marie. She was also predeceased by her daughter Jaqueline Chamberland and son Donald.
