Obituary of John Wyka

John E. Wyka, 64, died Saturday after a long illness. Born in Hartford, the son of the late Edward and Honora (Byrne) Wyka, he attended local schools and graduated from Buckley High School. He was a resident of Wethersfield for many years. After serving in the U.S. Marines during the Vietnam Conflict he was employed at Hyster New England in Berlin for several years John is survived by his sister Victoria and her husband Robert Wise of Lebanon, New Jersey and three nieces Funeral services will be held Tuesday 1:00 P.M. at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will follow in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.
