Obituary of Ronald J. Kaszycki
It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Ronald John Kaszycki on Thursday March 20th 2025, one month short of his ninety third birthday. Ron was born to Veronica and John Kaszycki on April 18th 1932 in New Britain and was a life long resident of Connecticut.
During a dance at Berlin High School at the age of 16, he was smitten by 15-year- old Doris Marie Carriere. After one date, they became lifelong partners and shared seventy-three loving years together, raising five children, twelve grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Ron lost his beloved Doris in 2021 and spent his last four years missing her.
After graduating from high school, Ron and Doris were married on April 19th 1952. Ron enlisted in the Navy during the Korean War and was proud of his service to our country. Two days after his discharge he was hired by Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in East Hartford and until his retirement in 1993, he helped to test and build state of the art jet engines. During their retirement years, Ron and Doris were essential in helping raise their grandchildren and developed life long bonds with them.
Ron was predeceased by his wife Doris, his parents Veronica and John and his older brother, Richard. Left to forever miss him, Ron leaves his children, John Kaszycki and his wife Dot, David Kaszycki and his wife Kathy, Paul Kaszycki and his wife Lisa, Carol Murray and her husband John, Sharon Gorneault and her husband Wayne, and his adored twelve grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
