Juan A. Cardona Obituary

Juan A. Cardona, 75, of New Britain, passed away peacefully at his residence, Monday (Mar. 3, 2025). A native of Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Cardona and Maria Lopez Diaz, he came to the United States in 1967 and to New Britain in 1970. He was employed at Stanley Works for over thirty years and was a long time member of the New Britain Puerto Rican Society. Juan was an avid lover of cars, bars, and women. Juan is survived by three sons,


AnJay and his wife Edielynn Cardona, Jose Cardona and Juan Cardona Jr.;  a daughter Elizabeth Carr; two sisters Luz Maria Cardona, and Teresa Cardona; a granddaughter Elydia Carr; and several nieces and nephews, as well as many other grandchildren. He was predeceased by a son Marcos Cardona, his two brothers Miguel Cardona and Jose Cardona, and his sister Rosa Cardona. All whom he loved unconditionally. 


A visitation will be held Friday (Mar. 7, 2025) from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be private.
