Dear Family and friends of Donald C. Smith,
My condolences to you all. He was 'Smitty', 'Donny' to me. We met at Southern Connecticut where he was a much lauded power in Forensics. More than a force. Our mentor was Dr. Seth Hawkins. Don and I crossed paths again a decade later at a Communication conference. We stayed in touch and would get together at conferences, and in Wallingford, New York, or in Maine. His friendship meant a lot to me. We would laugh, argue, and then get a New Haven pizza, or two!
He was dear friend and I will miss him.
