Obituary of Dorothy Paretta

Dorothy (Davidson) Paretta, 96, of Plainville went to eternal rest on Wednesday Feb. 20, 2013. She was predeceased by her husband Carl M. Paretta. She was born in New Britain on December 26, 1916 and attended local schools. She lived in Plainville for the past fifty years. She was a member of the Plainville Senior Center and St. Ann Church in New Britain. Dorothy leaves her loving niece, Addie Paretta and a sister Evelyn Poglitsch of New Britain. She also leaves a sister-in-law, Florence Capodice of Kensington and several nieces and nephews. Friends and family are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial Friday at 9:00 A.M. at St. Ann's Church North St. New Britain. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Dorothy's name to St. Ann's Church 47 Clark St. New Britain, CT 06051. The family would like to thank the diligent staff, especially her very caring nurse, Linda Peck, at Apple Rehab in Plainville, for their many years of service.
