My dear Betty: I write to express my most sincere sympathy and condolences to you and your family, on the passing of your mother. Thank goodness you got there in time, I think it is one of the worst deaths to accept, other than the death of a child. I never knew your mother although I wish I had. But with all my sadness for you, I must admit I had to smile at your account of her final moments when you thought she'd gone but....and I thought, - just like Betty, doesn't stop, doesn't give up easily. However, for all her reluctance to leave you all, I am sure she went gratefully, to be welcomed as you say by her other loved ones. And I'm sure you too are grateful, for all she gave you...and that never goes away. Stay strong and brave and my love to both you and Maggie,
