Obituary of Gertrude E. Boissonault

Gertrude Elizabeth Boissonault passed peacefully into the arms of her loving Savior on December 10, 2018.  Trudy, as she was known to all, was born in Fort Kent, ME on October 1, 1932 to Onzyme and Lillian Raymond.  She was predeceased by her parents, 10 siblings and her loving husband, Ralph.  Trudy was always making sure no one was alone on a holiday or special event-sending Ralph to pick up and return any that wanted a place at their table.  She cared for her mother-in-law and elderly aunts and spent many a Sunday with her special needs brother, Larry.  She loved the ocean and travel with Ralph and their many friends.  She will be missed by many. 

Trudy leaves behind her sister Lucy, daughters and sons-in-law: Debra & Greg Cascio and Audrey & Tom Rival and her son and daughter-in-law: David & Shell Boissonault.  Grandchildren Danielle Holton and Melissa Marquis, Meghan and Eric Corriveau and great grand children Elizabeth and Gabriel Holton and Ronin Petteway.

Funeral services for Trudy will be held Friday (Dec 14) at 1:30PM at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. Burial will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Calling hours will be Thursday (Dec 13) 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alzheimer’s Association Connecticut Chapter 200 Executive Blvd #4b Southington, CT 06489.
