Obituary of Blandine M. Cote

Blandine M. Cote, 97, of New Britain died Sunday (Dec. 9, 2012) at the Jerome Home in New Britain. Born in St. Raphael, Canada, the daughter of the late Edward and Zelia (Boucher) Cote, she lived most of her life in New Britain. During her career she had worked at the Ford Motor Company in Waterford New York for thirty five years and was also the office manager at Nicholl-Talcot. Blandine is survived by her many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by six brothers and three sisters, Joseph Cote, Albert Cote, Ulric (Harry) Cote, Gus Cote, Paul Cote, Amedee (Ed) Cote, Rita Colette, Marie DeManuel and Mary Taylor. Funeral services will be held Saturday with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 A.M. at St. Paul Church, Kensington. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Saturday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of the Mass at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. New Britain. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Paul's Church 479 Alling St. Kensington 06037, or to Visiting Nurse Association-Hospice 205 West Main St, New Britain, CT 06052-1318. The family would like to thank the Jerome home for the kind and compassionate care given to Blandine.
