Obituary of Marian Ward

Marian Ward, 91, of New Britain, died unexpectedly Monday, (March 12, 2018) at the Hospital of Central CT in New Britain. Born in New Britain, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth (Kubik) Kalog and wife of the late Joseph Ward who died in 1970.  She was a 1944 graduate of New Britain High School and had worked at Central CT State University retiring in 1985.

Mrs. Ward is survived by her son, Frederick and his wife Martha Ward of New Britain; a grandson, Joseph Ward of New Britain; her extended family, Michael and Margaret Ziegenhagen of Kensington; a close friend, Lena Gianninoto of Newington and a nephew, Thomas Kalog of West Virginia.

Funeral services will be held Friday (Mar. 16, 2018) at 11:00 at the Farrell Funeral Home 110 Franklin Sq. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery, New Britain. Visitation will be Friday from 9:30 AM until 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
